My Students Love DESMOS

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, attendees will quickly discover the game-changing potential of DESMOS, and why my algebra/trig students LOVE the package. They will learn how to open a DESMOS class and also enroll in a few classes I've set up for them. We'll peruse the diversity of classes already online and focus on a few that showcase how DESMOS aids the creation of algebraic expressions to fit specifications. As a wrap-up, attendees will share their what they have learned and what they wondered about during the session.

Upon completion of this session attendees will be able to:
1. Relate to their own students' productive struggle with graphical challenges
2. Claim greater awareness of their own graphical intuition
3. Compare the efficacy of DESMOS with graphing calculators
