Attendees will identify tutorial or instructional videos within a content area that they have received solid foundational education (e.g. writing, math, dance, industrial maintenance). They will analyze these videos for credibility and discuss what makes them useful or not useful. After analyzing existing videos, students will create a storyboard for their own tutorial or instructional video.
Upon completion of this session attendees will understand the value of discipline-specific digital literacy. They will have new ways to analyze online content in their areas of study. They will leave the session with new tools for creating their own online content.
