Attendees will learn tips and tricks related to assessment of Outcomes in Canvas. The session will focus on the mechanics of Canvas Outcomes, how to add Outcomes to Rubrics for assessment using the Canvas SpeedGrader for Assignments or Discussions, and the use of both Classic Quizzes and Quizzes.Next to formatively assess outcomes. Examples of how to use the Canvas Teacher App for assessment of student activity will also be demonstrated. Finally, once student data has been generated we will explore the Learning Mastery Gradebook to show how this data can help drive student achievement and mastery.

After this session, attendees will be able to:
1) Prepare outcomes for assessment of Assignments, Discussions, Quizzes (including Quizzes.Next) using Rubrics and Question/Item Banks
2) Assess Outcomes via Rubrics using both the web-based and mobile platforms.
3) View student outcome results in the Learning Mastery Gradebook.
