Today’s children live in a society that revolves around technology. Their future is technology. It is important that we prepare our students to become 21st century learners. Students need to be collaborative, creative, think critically, and be able to be efficient communicators.
It is very important to keep books in the hands’ of our students. In my classroom we love to combine books and technology. After my students read a book they create a book review using different technology platforms. In this session my students and I will show you how to use different platforms to express their literary understanding. We will discuss the following platforms for book reviews: iMovie, Clips, green screen, book snaps, and SeeSaw.

State what technology platforms can be used to give book reviews
Instruct students on “how” to use these platforms.
Create one book review within the session
