2019 Wyoming Innovations in Learning

Do your district's or school's practices reflect parent engagement, parent participation, parent partnerships, or all of the above? Do you have clearly articulated goals and expectations for the involvement of parents? These two questions, simple as they may seem, if not clearly stated practices often create disappointments and conflicts for both school personnel and parents. Successful experiences that result in both satisfied parents and staff along with positive impacts on student achievement take careful planning articulation of well-defined goals. Examples of successful practices and procedures will be shared with the attendees.
