Transforming Data Collectors into Data Users
If we solicit data from students we have a moral obligation to use it. As educators, we’ve become especially adept at collecting mounds of data, slicing and dicing it a thousand different ways. But data is only valuable if teachers act upon it to improve teaching and learning.
Join veteran educator Trenton Goble for a session focused on transforming data cultures in our schools by implementing proven data-driven decision-making strategies. He’ll share accessible methods, tangible takeaways, and teacher-centric tools that are guaranteed to get you using data, not just collecting it.

How Wyoming can leverage Public-Private Partnerships to Support the Educational Attainment Initiative
Wyoming has established aggressive yet attainable goals for using educational attainment as a driver for economic growth. With much of the responsibility and effort  resting on the shoulders of government agencies, success of the initiative will require partnerships with both in-state and out-of-state private sector businesses.

The Wyoming Community College Commission partnered with Florida-based Link-Systems International several years ago to deliver 24/7 online tutoring to public college students. We explore how partnerships like this and others benefit Wyoming, and how we can leverage these partnership to accomplish our objectives.
