Jennifer Nehl

Jennifer Nehl is a passionate educator of 26 years. She has taught in the classroom at all grade levels, has held 2 principalships spanning Pk-12 and has worked at as Learning Specialist providing training for schools and school districts across the nation for 12 years. She currently works as a national trainer for Aha! Process Company under Dr. Ruby Payne providing strategies and invoking conversation around working with students with a poverty mindset.

Her areas of expertise include the poverty mindset in the classroom, best teaching practices, constructing meaningful assessments, literacy in the classroom, and innovative learning for the 21st Century classroom. Jennifer currently possesses a M.Ed. providing her with a rich background in building leadership capacity and coaching good teachers and leaders to be great teachers and leaders! She is currently working on her second book, which addresses building relationships in professional and personal capacities. Her certifications are numerous including, but not limited to, understanding the poverty mindset, best coaching and teaching strategies, building professional capacity, balanced literacy, effective assessing and quality learning, data analysis, professional development planning, strategic planning.

When she is not working, you will find Jen hiking in the mountains, skiing on the local slopes or traveling to new adventures!
