Liisaan Cooper, a high school English teacher at Campbell County High School from Gillette, Wyoming, is a teacher leader who is constantly on the lookout for new tools and strategies to engage her students in learning.  Her goals of developing literacy have been dramatically increased by striving for innovation with the use of technology. Ms. Cooper has been a teacher for 14 years, and in that time, she has taught Sophomore English, Junior English, Senior Literature, Dual-Enrollment College English, and Summer School; she has been a 1:1 classroom since 2014.  Ms. Cooper holds a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction in Reading and three Bachelors degrees in English, English Education, and French. This year marks her Additionally, she has served as a mentor to several pre-service teachers.  When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She also loves reading, playing video games, and playing board games.
