Richard Atnip

Richard Atnip has over 20 years of experience in public school system. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Chadron State College, in Secondary Education with a field endorsement in Biology, and a Master’s degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.   He has been teaching science classes for all of these years.  He teaches Biology, Chemistry 1, and Dual credit Anatomy and Physiology.  He has been the head of the science department for the past 6 years and on the Building Leadership Team for the same amount of time.  With the help of the Biology department team they have revamped the Biology curriculum to Standards Based Grading, and more hands-on student centered classroom. He has also been active in the school with over 10 years of coaching football and over 20 years coaching wrestling.
