Stuart W. Gamble has been a Director on the MaFLA Board since 2013. He also
served on the Board of the Foreign Language Teachers’ Collaborative of Western
Massachusetts from 2007-2014. He has been a MaFLA member since 1994 and
has taught Spanish 1- AP Language and Culture at Cathedral High School,
Springfield, Ludlow H.S., and currently at East Windsor Ct. H.S. In addition, he has
taught Heritage Spanish at Springfield Technical Community College and Medical
Spanish at various hospitals in Western Massachusetts. He was the recipient of
two NEH Spanish Immersion Seminars/Institutes at Hunter College and Brigham
Young University. Mr. Gamble holds an M.A.T. in Spanish Language and Literature
and graduated with a B.A., cum laude from U.Mass., Amherst. In addition, he did
graduate work at the Colegio de Espana in Salamanca, Spain. He also did post-
graduate studies at Hunter College. Mr. Gamble’s Spanish Classes work 85%
online and he uses the flipped classroom technique in his classes.
